Iceland Day 13

Leaving the Tröllaskagi peninsula, we stopped at a sod house museum, Glaumbær farm. While our pictures don’t do it justice, the patterns in the sod were quite intricate.

We then turned inland across the Skagi peninsula to the Vatnsnes peninsula. There be trolls! Hvítserkur is the supposed the remains of one, when he got caught by the sunrise while trying to destroy a monastery, and turned to stone.

Some “Hail Mary’s” out of the car window. Hard to keep the horizon level at speed.
